How to remove slider border

I tried to adjust the image size as 976x450 like in the demo but the height reminds very narrow like it's shown on my site now. I'm now using featured images sized 700x420 is there anyway to remove the grey borders on both sides that frame the slider? http://misstraveling.com/ Thanks!
