How to Remove Genericons from "Menu"

Hello and happy New Year to all! My todo question is this, i want to delete all call to "genericons" but also i want to use icon menu with the 3 line and X for close menu. Is there any way to remove request from genericons? I try to delete genericons folder, but this broke my menu and also call an non-existent file/folder probably call the X for close and 3 line for menu. Why i want to remove genericons? Because i try to make my website fast as light and call to genericons sometime slow.
