How to remove from pages

I am working on a child theme of Simple Catch. I want most of my pages (created from the default template) to include NexGEN photo galleries, but no LEAVE A REPLY form. I would like to completely remove the <div id="respond"> from the page. For the life of me, I can't figure out where the code resides that is placing this on the page. Thanks!
