How to get rid of stripe texture in featured image slider?

Hey everyone, how can I get rid of this stripe texture that is automatically put over my HD pictures in the featured image slider? The Problem is: My high quality HD pictures look much worse and much more like lower quality because of this stripe texture. Is there a plugin or even an easier way to deal with that so that it just shows the pictures as they are (without stripes over it?
