How to feature a page in the slider

I notice in the "slider type" that there are 2 options: Post Slider and Category Slider. I am trying to link slides to "pages" rather than "posts". Is this possible? If not in the free theme, is this an option in the premium theme? Except for this one issue - which quite limits me unfortunately - this is a great theme!
