How to enable comments on a non-blog page?

In 'Theme options - Comment Options' I read this: 'Comments can also be disabled on a per post/page basis when creating/editing posts/pages' My question: have can I enable comments on a normal page (not a blogpost)? I don't see any option for this in the page editor.
