How to activate optional sidebar 1

Hi All, Ik am using Theme Bold Photography Pro and like to use the optional sidebar 1 instead of the default sidebar on the right on some pages. But, after inserting some widgets and selecting the Optional Sidebar 1, the default is still showing up. I an looking forward to a solution. Best Regards, Staf Campforts
