Homepage Top Sidebar

Hello Support Team, is it possible to shown "Featured Service" items in Top-Sidebar instead of Post/Page items. If i try to enter an ID of an service i got en invalid ID warning in widget area. I there any way or hook to show services as featured service on homepage? Best regards Heiko
