Homepage Headline – adding images?

Hi all, I was wondering if it's at all possible to make a row of 4 or 5 logos in the homepage headline section. I tried adding an image by putting the code in the text section but that doesn't work. Is there a way to do it through css or would I have to go in and manually code it into the theme? Thanks!
