Homepage/Frontpage Options

Dear Skandha, after nearly finishing the homepage, there remains one problem: In the Homepage/Frontpage Options is no effect in choosing the categories, they always remain complete on the side. Refreshing, on and off actions and so on did not solve the problem. I understood the way to choose multiple categories: But there is simply no effect on the site. What should I do have a reaction on my site while choosing specific categories? Thanks for your help!
