Homepage Featured Content

Hi, I don´t understand how it works the "Homepage Featured Content", because when I press the Add Image, for example, in the Featured Content #1, don´t work. The "Link URL", is the link to any post? I want to replace the "Nepal Prayer Wheels" with other thing, like any post of one Category. Is this possible? Thanks a lot!
