Home Page Sliders

I would like to have all homepage sliders operate with arrows only...or to be able to slow them down dramatically. I only see speed controls for the header slider. The sliders are spinning by so quickly that they do not allow enough time to read presented information. Additionally, on smaller screen devices they cause the page to jump around erratically due to varying amounts of text. This occurs even when the slider is not visible. In the same vein...can I use the news slider multiple times on the homepage? I like the way it presents the best. THANKS
