Home and post pages

Hi, I posted a little while ago about creating seperate home and post pages but didnt recieve any assistance? Is this possible? I would like only Homepage Headline and Featured Content Box's on the 'Home' page with no page title at the bottom. On the 'News' page I would like only myposts and sidebar with the Homepage Headline but no Featured Content Box's. Url: http://www.podecos.co.uk Please let me know if this is possible or not?
