Help to fix Nextgen Gallery bug needed

Hello, I cannot upload pictures in Nextgen Gallery (Http error). Probably the bug can easyly fixed by changing the .htaccess file. The server has to be switched from php 6 to php 5 by adding the following lines: ` AddType x-mapp-php5 .php AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php` I tried to change it, but access for this file is denied.
