Help- slider and its images lost!

Hi there, I need urgent help, as during the transfer of my website from my subdomain- dev.bright..... to my main domain- bright..., the slider and colour customisation disappeared! In addition the images I used in the slider have disappeared from my media library!!!! I have been working with the support guys from my hosting company who are great and tried to help but they said this is a theme issue and I ought to contact the developers of the theme to tell me where in the databases the info was stored ...... I have no clue as I am NOT a programmer but simply a user and therefore any help on how to resolve this will be much appreciated. Thank yoou. Nadia
