Header – White space above and below

My header is an image, because I could not get the logo and text to be next to each other unless I made both in an image using power point. My problem is the image brings my menu down to far on the page.  I think I need certain CCS code, but I am a newby to this. Can you help? www.decodingdyslexia0r.org Thx! ~ Diana
