Header Top Sidebar, placing two items inline in this space

My website is http://www.newsforcatholics.info As you can see I have a widget with an RSS feed in the top left section of the Header Top Sidebar. I would like to add an image of a spotlight to the right of that widget and be able to manipulate the distance between the two. Is there CSS that can accomplish this? Thanks for your help.
