Header size and logo border

Hi, I like your theme, and am glad that I discovered your page! But I cannot solve some things. I'd like to make the header smaller in height. My problem is it gets even taller when I put the logo in. And: the logo gets a light border. Please check: http://proba.renatalehnert.com/ Thanks for your help! Subper
