Header photo on pages cropping

I love the header photo on the homepage (https://www.feestcafedezwaan.nl/), but when I open another page like: https://www.feestcafedezwaan.nl/feestje/ the photo is cropped. I can change the setting so the header only shows on the homepage, but I do want a header photo on every page. When I use 'featured image' in a post, that doesn't work: the photo won't show on the page. Is there a solution?
