Header media url use

Hi, I would like to understand about the header media URL link that goes with the header media tex and how to use it. I've set the page to open the link in a new page/window and I want it to display a video introducing myself from my youtube page. However, when I click on the media text the page doesn't open and the icon is locked! There's no instruction or examples on your site about header media URL (a ton on header image issues though). Please advise how I can make use of header media URL or get rid of both header media URL and text links as I don't see the point to have a continue reading or visit header media text box that will redirect people to my website's start page when clicked.
