Header Highlight Producing Page Content

The screen shot below shows the header highlight in custom mode. Why is the text from "about us' showing up there? And why is the subheading text not showing? This same text is showing up in the Promo Headline text box as well. In the past I have had conflict issues with page builder. This is installed but I do not have home page content or posts enabled for the home page.
