Header disabled on Frontpage but still showing a black area

Hi, I ran into a lot of unexpected troubles with the Header Media option. Here's the issue : What I want : I want the header on pages and posts but <b>not</b> on the frontpage What I did : Chose : Excluding Homepage in the settings ( https://catchthemes.com/frequently-asked-questions/#question-basics-5 ) What I got : Big black area with Site Header text on the Homepage !!
