Header, Comment Box, and Image Borders

Header Question: How to post logo to the left-hand side of the text, and adding all social media buttons that are currently on the footer to the area underneath the search box in order to maximize visibility. Comment Box Is it possible to remove the comments box from all pages of the website? Can it also be done to remove from the blog posts? I did not see the option in Settings. Is it possible to establish a default setting for images that eliminates borders? It's easy enough to manipulate the border, but it would be nice if we could avoid that step. Thank you.
