Header and Writing on Featured Post Slider

Hi there, First of all great template! Most things are very easy to use and it looks very nice! However I am having a few problems. I want to remove the header writing on each page. E.g. on the menu it may say 'Home' and i would like to get rid of that title on the actual writing on the page. I understand that this can do it .page .entry-title { display: none; } However the writing on the featured post dissapears. How can I stop this? Is there a way to change the location of the Facebook Like button? Thank you!
