Have no options to change Slider Images

I am loving this theme but I can not for the life of me work out how to customise the images on the featured slider. The options the instructions say should be under customise > featured slider are not there. I only have "enable slider on" dropdown. I have set a featured image on one of my pages to see if that helps but still I just have the sample images and text?
