H1 heading

Hi. According to Yoast SEO it’s advised to use an H1 heading in a post. Every time I write a post this suggestion comes up. However, when I add an H1 heading it’s right below the title of the post, making it seem a bit weird having the same title/heading 2 times, one over the other. Is it because the title of the page also works as an H1 heading and Yoast SEO simply doesn’t recognize that? Since having 2 H1 headings is bad for SEO I’d like to know how to solve this so it looks clean and still follows the general SEO advice. Any solution for this? I hope it makes sense. Thanks.
