gallery image caption links

I'm creating galleries with images that link to the attachment pages. Do you know a way for the captions to also link to the attachment pages? Or of a plugin that will do that? (I know I can paste absolute links in the caption fields, but they would no longer work when the site goes live.) Thanks.
