Front page sections

Hi - I have catch theme full pro. I seem to have two home pages on my front page sections and I can't work out where I need to go to amend them. I'm extremely new to this. I only want one section and I need to be able to edit the section. I'm sure it's simple, but I can't get my head round it. Also, on one of the sections it has part of the writing of the page underneath it - is there a way of not having the writing there - it's the first few sentences on the page and then says read more. Thanks
