Formatting Issues with Countdown and Story

Hi there, I've tried adding both the countdown and story, but the formatting is not working properly. Each countdown element spans 100% of the width of the page. For Story, I have the demo content live on my website -- the vertical line that shows in the demo is displaying as a question mark, the images and copy are not displaying side-by-side as they do in the demo.
