Format stripped on main page but not individual page

Hello! Just installed today and really enjoy it. When I wrote my first post (which should be the most prominent when someone visits the site), I see that all the formatting (paragraph breaks and bolding) is removed: http://www.performingartscamp.net/ However, it shows up when visiting the individual entry page: http://www.performingartscamp.net/hello-world/ This happened on another Wordpress Theme I use on another site, and I'd love to learn how to fix it. Thank you!
