Footer won't change

Hi, I just upgraded to Simple Catch Pro and would like to change the footer of my site (remove some stuff, add some other stuff). Your built-in Footer Editor Option for the pro version doesn't seem to work. If I change anything (add or remove) and hit save, it just goes right back to its original state. The changes don't stick. I know I could dig into the php files and eventually figure out how to change the footer that way, but it would be much simpler if this built-in Footer Editor worked. Any idea as to why it isn't working? Thanks
