Footer in top of screen

I have just published my web site with the Catch Evolution theme at www.dync.eu. For some odd reason I see a couple of dots and the text "The Netherlands" on top of every page. Inspecting the page I see <div id = "footer"> (??). No idea how to get rid of it so my lay out nicely matches the top of the page. I am not a Wordpress pro or programmer. Anybody can help?
