Footer height top and bottom

Hi, guys! I'm wondering how to reduce the footer height at the top and bottom. I've tried some of the code on the forums just to play with it, and I couldn't find any that reduced much of the space. I'd like to achieve this both on the desktop site and on the mobile site.
