Footer Doesn’t Update

Hello: My footer's text doesn't change when I make the corrections in the theme I go to Theme Options -> Footer Editor Options -> and I changed the text using the template code and then input plain text as the box says it also accepts... And nothing changes. How do I fix this? Thanks.
