Filter button – Portfolio Section

Good morning, How can I enable the filter button that appears above the pictures in Portfolio Section on the Demo? I would like to see this filter to select the category I want to see... Another question, I can see in the demo the portfolio images adapts its size depends it is horizontal or vertical but in my case, all the imagen appears in vertical. How can I fix this?
