Featured Sliders Cover Menu-Cannot Click On Menu

Hi, The featured sliders on my homepage are covering the left portion of the menu, so when you try to click on one of the menu choices to the left, you're unable to. I found a post in the forum regarding a similar problem...I input the code suggested for the fix under the custom CSS box, but it didn't change anything. Any help would be appreciated; thank you!
