Featured Slider – Multiple Slides not working

Hi I'm using the featured slider on my homepage and wanted to change the number of slides from 1 to 3. Unfortunately the slides are shown below each other instead of a slider. Is this a general bug or maybe an issue with a plugin I'm using? Thanks for your help!
