featured slider: how to "mix" posts and images

Hi, I would like to "mix" simple images and posts (with text and link) in the content slider. Problem : the site is in 3 languages, so I can't place "images", because I can't translate the title or the content... Is there another way ? Can I enable/desable the textbox on a post slider? Another question : As the website is in 3 languagues, is it possible to have a different logo in the header for each language? (sorry for my english, I speak french ;-)) thanks
