Featured Slider – Disable Directing to Posts

I am having troubling duplicating the demo preview, where you would not be redirected to a featured post slider page with a mouse click from the home page. I am using the free Kathmandu Catch and wonder if I need to upgrade to PRO to do this. Please help.
