Featured Slider Customization issue

Hi, I have been having two problems with the Featured Slider Effect Options recently, and will be grateful for any help! 1. The Theme does not seem to remember the transition length I customise but keeps resetting it to 1. 2. How do I make all the images I use in the slider same size. At the moment despite trying to edit/crop them, they vary slightly in size. This, together with the too fast transition time (see problem 1) makes them bumpy. You cannot access my site at the moment as I am revisin it and have activated plugin "Coming Soon".... but I can provide details if necessary. Thank you. Nadia
