featured post slider BUG REPORT

Hi - using simplecatch on WP 4.5.2 - all up to date. If I open the featured post slider tab in theme options, it resets the logo and slider to default and shows as defaults in the settings. I have had to restore database from backups to rectify. Any advice to work around this issue? Thanks in advance, Richard
