featured post slider

Hello, I just started my blog and I chose the theme Simple catch, however I dont like the featured slider. Can you help me how to remove it? Everytime when I disable it, it is still there. Sometimes it is even away but after a while it shows up again. my blog is www.abroadwithdenisa.com Thank you :)
