Featured post slider

I added a post and a featured image size 1280x600 I took the URL of the post and pasted in the Featured Post Slider in Theme Options. But when i Save it doesn't save, next time I open the Options it's not there anymore. Obviously the slide keeps showing the demo images. How do I solve this?
