Featured Page Slider Options

Hi Great theme. Just having a little problem that I can not see my way around. When a page has a featured image that goes into the slider the words at the start of the heading and the start of the words are going over the image, which making it look a bit of a mess. Can I stop it doing this in any way? Thank you.
