Featured (Page) Content issues

I'm working on a development site and have a couple of issues with the Featured Content (Page Content) feature: 1. The featured image and Read More tag both correctly link to the specified page, however I'd like the page title to be linked too (this is how the Featured Page widget works). 2. The Read More tag only appears in home page Featured Content if the word count exceeds the excerpt length threshold set in Theme Options. If I manually insert a Read More tag before that point in the page content, the Read More tag disappears on the home page. How can we fix these issues?
