Featured Items thumbnails not rendering properly

I set my thumbnails on my "featured content" posts on the home page are suppose  to be squares but they don't show up as squares on the home page. The thumbnail sizes and cropping are random sizes. I've gone in and cropped and set the featured image on the posts but still not displaying properly. https://kevinkinsella.com/ "Latest Releases" section is where you can see the issue. I'm using posts for this section.
