Featured Image takes over the header in posts

I've posted two articles now and i've set a featured image for both so they appear in the postslider. When you click on my first post the header remains the same as the homepage, but when you click on my second post the featured image replaces the header. I want the homepage header to stay visible at all time. Thank you so much!
