Featured Image mouse over text

I am using the Featured Image slider option. I don't fill in the title or summary. When you mouse over the featured image, you see "Featured image #" rather than any meaningful text. Is there a way to control this? Basically, I don't want any text below the image and so I am assuming that by keeping those fields empty, it defaults to this.. Is this correct? Thanks.
