Featured Image is Not Rendering

I have been trying to figure out why my images are not rendering consistently. Here is an example. I have loaded an image in the featured image section. When I view the post, the image is not showing up. Is this a bug in the system or am I not uploading the correct image size? I checked the theme instructions and don't see anything about image/file size limitations. I even played around with the image sizing to see if that would fix the problem, it did not.
