Featured image in post is not showing

I am using catch evolution theme with event espresso plugin. The featured image is not shown anymore in a single event (which is based on default post type). Formerly I used the pro version, but it also worked fine for a very long time with the free version. I don't know exactly since when this problem occurs. I know I recently updated the theme.
